Zakynthos Experiences

Wonders of NatureWonders of Nature

Nature takes center stage in every corner of Zakynthos, creating breathtaking places of unparalleled beauty. Caves with crystal-clear waters, stunning beaches distinguished by their unique identities, and small islands of wild beauty compose a dreamlike scenery in the heart of summer.

Navagio is globally renowned as one of Greece's most famous beaches. On its shore lies the hull of a shipwreck, which over the years has washed ashore from the sea. This striking monument, combined with thousands of white pebbles and the azure waters of the sea, creates a unique spectacle that you will never forget. Access to Navagio is by boat, and along the way to its shore, you'll have the opportunity to admire the towering, vertical cliffs that surround it.

In Zakynthos, you will also encounter many caves, such as the Blue Caves and the Keri Caves. The Keri Caves are located near Cape Marathia and include dozens of caves that can be reached either by swimming or by boat. The Blue Caves are found on the northwest side of the island. The water at their base has a vivid, azure color from the reflections of light, which is how they got their name.

Just a short distance from Zakynthos, there are heavenly places like Marathonisi. It's an island with two magnificent beaches—one with pebbles and the other with sand. Both beaches have magical waters that are a shimmering greenish-blue! Another surprise awaiting you on this beautiful little island is the wonderful loggerhead sea turtles, as it is one of their most frequented nesting spots.
