Location - Blue Waters beach Zakynthos

Aura De Sol is situated in the particularly picturesque settlement of Akrotiri on Zakynthos. This beautiful area, with its island charm, is built on a small hill overlooking the sea. Despite the luxury hotels and villas scattered throughout, nothing will detract from the island's magic, as impressive olive groves can be found around every corner.

Akrotiri is renowned for its beach, designated a monument by the Ministry of Culture. Although rugged and not easily accessible for swimming, its pristine, natural beauty is unique and invaluable. The coastline stretches from the Kryoneri lighthouse to the islet of Trenta-nove. Nearby is the Red Rock, a notable landmark mentioned in the literature of Zakynthos's esteemed novelist, Grigorios Xenopoulos.

Visitors spending their summer in the magical Akrotiri enjoy their swims at Tsilivi beach. Aura De Sol is only 1 km away from this magnificent sea, allowing you to enjoy its crystal-clear waters at any time.

You can also have unique fun at Kalamaki, Tsilivi, and Alykanas beaches by choosing your favorite water sport, such as jet skiing, windsurfing, or pedal boating.

However, Zakynthos also boasts excellent museums that will transport you through its rich history. One of these is the Historical War Museum, the only Greek museum with three-dimensional battle representations from World War II to the Vietnam War. There, you will have the chance to experience and feel the atmosphere of those times and “meet” heroes and historical figures who shaped history.

Of course, boat trips to breathtakingly beautiful sights are also among the island's activities. The Navagio and the Blue Caves are the best destinations for short excursions, as their waters remain incomparably beautiful to this day. Other places worth visiting are the Keri Caves and Marathonisi, where in their turquoise waters, you might even encounter the Caretta-Caretta turtle!
